LC and teens
Does anyone have a teen with long haul? We are 3.5 years from the first covid. She has had it at least 3 more times that we know for sure. Each round seems to take more and more out of her.

I will pray for her, really !

Good luck. Finding someone who can help her and getting an appt will be big obstacles.
If you don't have a local doctor that has expertise in covid and long covid, then it would be good to contact Mayo or the closest teaching hospital for an appt. Covid can have varied and different impacts on people, their energy levels, heart, lungs, autoimmune systems, and other. Try for a complete health assessment because it is hard to fix or control a problem until it is isolated. It would be good to keep a journal on how your teen is doing, all symptoms, if any food make symptoms worse, impact of exercises, and emotional effects to share with the doctor(s).
I'm a senior (71) with mild LC (long covid) symptoms, mostly PEM (post exercise malaise), that I "treat" by pacing myself. I don't do aerobic exercise past the tipping point of causing a LC bonk, but can do resistance training (weights and such). LC screwed up my GI tract for a while so I switched to a mostly FODMAP diet (covid can cause GI and food intolerance in some people). Stress greatly impacts LC so try to escape into books, hobbies, and other activities, and get enough sleep/rest. Being a teenager is hard enough without the impact of covid and LC.

My son is 15 and has long covid symptoms. He did not get the shots but had Covid infection in 2021 and 2022.
He gets really tired, gets dizzy/lightheaded when he stands up, gets migraines now with visual auras, feels his heart pounding hard which causes anxiety and panic attacks (has a heart defect), etc. He is already dealing with ADHD and takes medications but having added long covid symptoms makes everyday harder.
What symptoms does your daughter have? How is she coping?
