LAL+ Full Release Just Happened

Hi All,

I've been waiting for approval and release of LAL+ for former PRK/LASIK patients - PRK for me about 18 years ago.

I've completed workups and am scheduled for LAL+ IOLs to be implanted in both eyes in mid June.

Anyone else had this done? Looking for relevant experience!

Most recent consult with refraction was yesterday, 5 Dec 24.

Refractions exactly the same - this is good news as it means eyes are stable and script is consistent. OD absolutely plano with visual acuity of 20/15 distance., and OS -2.25 with no cylinder.

After wearing the four contact lenses, my sense is that -1.50 is probably the right spot for me, with the right near reading range balanced with pretty darn good mid and distance sight. I have not worn readers since I started the process, and prefer not to, but they are always an easy add.
