Kidney Stones and Bladder Slings

Posted by pawprint65 @pawprint65, 3 days ago

I am 59 and had kidney stones removed 2 weeks ago. When I originally went to my dr., my symptom was a constant feeling of needing to urinate. I had a 9mm and 4mm stone which I was told were the issue. The stones have now been removed, the stent was removed, but I still have the feeling that I need to urinate. Now I am wondering if my bladder sling that was put in after my hysterectomy 15 years ago is the cause. Has anyone else had issues like this?

After they remove your uterus , the bladder tends to fall since the organs that held it in place are gone. So there is a process to attach a “sling” to the pelvic bone on either side and support the bladder. I’m not a Dr. so that’s my interpretation. I had it put in at the same time as my hysterectomy so I wouldn’t have to have a separate surgery later.
