Always research includes Mayo…brand new finding chat topics. BASIC question: I’m almost 12 years post transplant. My brother was 25 years, died sadly, unrelated. How long is your transplant? Oldies and newbies invited!

Welcome, @uticaafb. You will find many transplant recipients here who have been living years with their transplant. If I understand correctly both you and your brother have had transplants: his for 25 years and your transplant was 12 years ago.

Was your transplant from a living donor? Did you have the transplant at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere?
