Kevzara not being covered next year?

I've been injecting Kevzara for about 6 months. Now my Humana Medicare advantage plan is not going to cover it next year. Is anyone else dealing with this? Any suggestions?

@kare1 For 2025, my medicare D did not cover Kevzara but it was covered after I met the $2000 out of pocket. Hopefully the same will be true in 2026 so I hear the out-of-pocket is $2100.

@khof do not count on that, please call your Plan D or Advantage provider and ask them. You do not want to get caught with a big problem in 2026 if you are wrong. Knowledge is power!

@dbyrne I'm having the same problem with Kevzara. My Rheumatologist wants me to switch to methyltrexate (sp). But the Kevzara has been helping so I'm hesitant to change.

@kpoesch call your insurance company and talk with them now, you still have time to change policies if necessary. Open enrollment is ending soon.

@jabrown0407 My agent checked and none of the Medicare Advantage plans in my area next year are covering Kevzara.
