Just diagnosed - endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma

Just found out I have endometrial endometroid adnocarsinoma. Grade 2. Uterine wall is 4x thicker than it should be and it has gone to the connective tissue of the cervix but has not left the uterus. Any one else dealing with this type or have had this type? Thoughts etc would be greatly appreciated.

Oh gosh. That must've been an unexpected surprise (unwanted I'm sure.)
How is your recovery from gallbladder surgery going, @veilwalker? Do you have any questions about what to expect with your upcoming surgery?

Im recovering well.. still get tired faster than I like. Im pretty active and haven't gotten all my strength back yet. Working on getting my immune system up for the next surgery on May 20th. Not sure what to expect with the next surgery. Not sure what to expect after the surgery. I pray I do not have to have any other treatments. Thank you for inquiring about me

@tcy941 Did you see the oncologist at the end of April as planned? If yes, what is your plan? Has a hysterectomy been scheduled? I found that once I had a treatment plan and knew what was scheduled that I started to feel less anxious. How are you feeling today?

@veilwalker How is your energy today? Your next surgery on May 20 is not all that far away in time. If the hysterectomy is laparoscopic (mine was) then you will likely feel fatigued for a few weeks as you did after the gall bladder surgery. After my hysterectomy it took me about a month to get all my energy back. My surgeon explained to me that while I did not have much healing on the surface (the small incisions) I still had the same amount of healing internally as would the case with abdominal surgery.

@naturegirl53 I still seem to get tired quicker than I like. Trying to get my steps back up. Thank you for sharing about how you felt afterwards. I was wondering about all of that. I go tomorrow for my preop.

@veilwalker I hear you. Being patient when you’re an active person is difficult. For the first few days after the hysterectomy I was OK with resting, reading, and watching TV. Then I got very bored and wanted to jump up and go for long walks and lift weights again. I “knew” I couldn’t do that at the time but it was no less frustrating.

Will you let me know what happens during your preop? As I recall I had blood tests, a lung x-ray, EKG, and met with the anesthesiologist.
