It was the first med my cardiologist put me on and I couldn't tolerate it. I got a lot worse on it. It was a relief to be taken off it. Sometimes a change in dosage or else a change in medication can make a big difference. Doctors do not practice medicine to make or allow patients to suffer. It sounds like you're suffering. Let your cardiologist know Jardiance isn't helping.

First getting cancer treatment and then being on Mayo Clinic Connect I have learned how inaccessible quality health care is to so many Americans. I went to have a mammogram and because I'm at a cancer center, the women in the waiting room all knew we all had had cancer and we began telling our stories. Every woman in that waiting room had traveled 2 or more hours to get there. For some, like me, there are hospitals closer but we feel it isn't quality care. But the fact is, we have a choice. We could stay closer to home. So many Americans don't have a choice and it sounds like you don't.
Do you have a portal at your cardiologist's practice so that you can message his/her office? Have you called them? I know I shouldn't ask you something so obvious but I have encountered people who just won't reach out to their doctor between appointments. You shouldn't have to wait another month suffering the way you are.
Because the messages on the portal go to a NP or PA and often the doctor doesn't see them, I was having a problem with the PA who was reading my message and wasn't understanding my question . I know this is going to sound crazy but I wrote a letter to the doctor and sent it certified so only he could open it. (Until the doctor read my letter, he probably thought he was being sued! 🙂 I explained how the PA was misinterpreting what I was trying to get across and told the doctor what I was experiencing. The doctor telephoned me right away and the problem I was having with a medication was quickly resolved. He told me he was glad that I wrote to him.
I have found that cardiologists are incredibly busy. Because of a recent blizzard here I had to reschedule with my cardiologist and the first available appointment wasn't for seven months! But they are responsive. They know that heart issues can be life threatening.
I have also found that by being persistent and calling frequently, asking, "Is there any way I could see the doctor sooner?" It is really weird how a scheduler can suddenly find an available appointment. I encountered a scheduler who seemed to work magic. When I saw the doctor, much sooner than my original appointment had been, I mentioned the scheduler by name and asked the doctor to thank this man for me. It turned out, my doctor knew the scheduler and he promised he would do so.
You are suffering. You're not making this up. I know you're not because I went through it too.
I want you to know that when you wrote about not having the strength to walk, the memories flowed back for me. I couldn't walk up a slight incline and when I climbed the stairs in my house I had to lie down for a few minutes.
I hope I haven't insulted you by asking if you've tried to contact the doctor. I just didn't want to leave any stone unturned as they say. At the very least I hope it's helpful for you to be validated.

3 ReactionsAfter reading the comments written by @mysporby1940 and @wellgirl, I can suggest that asking to be put on a cancellation wait list may speed up the next visit. Sometimes, there are last minute/day/week (if you travel, this may be unfeasible) cancellations. Frequent phone calls to the schedulers may result in a speedier appointment. It's easier to put the name of the caller on the schedule rather than searching for the wait list.
