Would like to know the latest findings and treatment for UTI that does not respond to antibiotics.

I have had an UTI for 8 months and was prescribed 9 different antibiotics during this time. Changed urologist and he is checking for cancer. Whatever it is I just want it gone.

@rosemary2612 I had mine for 4 years almost constantly. I finally found a Urologist that knows what he is doing.
He went up into the bladder with a camera and a hose (so to speak) and when he sprayed in there, thousands of little white blobs came floating by on the screen.
He said I looked like a snow globe in there and I did. He had to do it twice to get it all,
after which he put antibiotic liquid right into the bladder.
All of that white stuff was old bacteria he explained and the new was growing off of it.
Thats why no antibiotics worked. I go back in 4 weeks to do it again.
I am now on sulfa drugs for 90 days and he seems to think that will do it.
No pain since.
