Iternuclear Opthalmoplegia and nystagmus diagnosis. Now what?
I was diagnosed with these last week. I am wondering if anyone else has this? I am unclear what needs to be done to correct it but i am walking around with vision issues and its difficult. Any insight would be a great help to me!

@nancyjo1490 I can see from your recent posts that this has been troubling you for a while, and that you have some other medical conditions as well.
First and foremost, what did the eye doctor say, or did you read this diagnosis on your patient portal? Internuclear Opthalmoplegia is a symptom of something else going on in your body, so the underlying cause must be identified so you can get the correct treatment.
Here is an explanation from the Cleveland Clinic:

If you didn't get clear directions for the "next step" please call the eye doctor first.
He told this to me at the appointment and directed me to tell my neurologist to look at the cerebellum Pictures of my Brain MRI himself to rule out a small stoke. He also wanted neurologist opinion on myasthenia. In the meantime he put a piece of scotch tape on my glasses on tge outer half of my right eye. This has helped some. I see the neurologist this Wednesday. I guess more to come. I just feel like its a never ending weave of diagnosises. Thank youfot your response.

1 ReactionI understand what you’re going through. I am the kind of person that needs to feel comfortable or educated about what is going on with my body. I did Google both of them and I do understand why you are questioning in a little anxious about your upcoming appointment. I would be too.
Go to Google/Scholar And do some homework. This is a great above just normal Google. Do your own research so you know what to expect and ask questions. Sometimes the simplest question can lead to better treatment and understanding.
I wish you the very best
