Is the PARI eRapid® Nebulizer System worth what it costs?

Posted by spectrumcyclist @spectrumcyclist, Jul 9, 2025

Does anyone have any long-term experience with the PARI eRapid® Nebulizer System?

After 15 years of lugging different large and small nebulizers around when traveling, I am ready to spend a lot of money on something small, easy to clean, and fast, so long as it is rugged and will last a few years. I have to nebulize four vials of stuff (including saline) twice daily. I'm not loving traveling anymore because of the chore of having to spread out all my stuff, sometimes with very little available surface area, wherever I am, not to mention having to wake up an hour before everyone else to nebulize.

Information from anyone who knows this product is appreciated.

@spectrumcyclist Where did you purchase it? A link is appreciated.

@scoop I get Control III from Amazon. I imagine it is also available from many online stores that sell C-PAP machines, or even from your local drugstore or medical supply store. It is not an exotic product.

I have a couple of questions about the Pari eRapid Nebulizer system that I don’t see answered in the posts I’ve read on this system.

It looks like it comes with everything you need to nebulize? No need for tubing and nebulizer cups?
Do people typically buy an extra handset or is the one that comes with the system enough for 6 week travel - wash after every use.
It sounds like people sterilize after every 2 or 3 uses BUT wash in soapy water and rinse after every use? Can you sterilize by boiling as I do with existing nebulizer equipment?

My apologies if this information was already provided but I couldn’t find it in the posts that I read. Thanks,

@kathyhg Yes, comes with everything (except saline) for nebulizing. I think mine came with an extra handset (but double check that). No tubing required. I like to have a backup handset or two on hand.

Regarding care instructions, this is what the company says:
