I have a problem with confusing UTI with vulvodynia, which is a chronic burning in the genital area. I'm over 65, had ovaries removed in my 30s, had breast cancer. Thus minimal estrogen. Estradiol at my age is not recommended. It is hard to distinguish a UTI from vulvodynia condition. I'm posting a PDF that helped me so much. I shower immediately following a bowel movement.
