@jeffreykassover1 I hope the 10mg dose works for you as well. My Dr took weekly blood tests the 1st 8 weeks. Has your Dr had you take the weekly tests?

@janetlen Yes, I have blood work done every week. Remlivid has not kicked in yet. My 2nd try with it. Now reducing dosage to see if that has a more positive effect. Still Transfusion dependent. I've gained about 20 pounds, too. Even though I'm not eating much. Praying!

I have taken both brand name Revlimid and generic lenalidomide, as have several others i know. A generic must have the same active ingredient by law, but may have different fillers/colors/preservatives. A person could react to those different non-active ingredients.

How are you doing on your health journey with multiple myeloma?

@liz15101, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories manufactures a generic version of the cancer drug Revlimid (lenalidomide). The original Revlimid is made by Bristol Myers Squibb.

How long have you been taking the generic version. Have you noticed a difference?

I have been taking lenalidomide for 4 years. Dr. Reddy version for a year. I think it may not be as effective and it may increase diarrhea. Note the “mays” because other factors can be in play. Was diagnosed with MDS 5q early 2017

I was diagnosed with MGUS in 2020 and light chain multiple myeloma in September 2025. I have been taking Revlimid (along with dexamethazone, velcade, darzalexfaspro) for 3 months. My light chains have gone from 700 down to 18. I am finally in the "normal" range and will be having my stem cells harvested in the next few weeks. I still have 4 more rounds of immunotherapy with the hope that I will not have to do a stem cell transplant . . . yet. I know it's in my future, but we want to see if my body can hold on to these numbers on its own for a bit.

@liz15101 My CareTeam advised me to take Metamucil each day. The orange flavored powder mixes easily in water and controls both diarrhea and constipation. Ask your doctor or nurse about this. Best success.
