Is IF safe with one kidney ?

I just started fasting. I am starving. I know my body can live off of my fat for days. Not planning on fasting that long. 12 hours. Need encouragement, your story. That's all. Thanks in advance.

@gramdoyle, intermittent fasting may not be for everyone. I find a 13 or 14 hours fast period to be quite easy because I almost never wake up hungry. So if I stop eating at 7pm, not eating until after 9am isn't hard. But everyone has a different metabolism. My best friend has to eat upon waking. That's just the way she is.

What is your why?


That is a question for your doctor. What is good for one is not good for another.


My “why” is to lose weight AND to see my glucose numbers come down.
