How often do you check to see if its better worse, I have recently been having more palpitations with a couple times become very dizzy. It doesn't last but a second or 2 but im very concerned. I have ambetter insurance in kansas which is the bottom of the barrel and I don't want to not do anything about it. Please give advice. I have lost weight been taking metoprolol 25 twice daily so why all of a sudden is this happening

@jlovern I see you have written a second discussion item - please do look at the replies to the one you wrote under "New to group. Pending appt with cardiologist" The questions you ask here are medical questions and your cardiologist is the one to answer them. I take metoprolol 50 mg once a day at breakfast, weight loss has not been a side effect. I just researched COE (Center of Excellence) for HCM in Kansas and found this link: https://www.kansashealthsystem.com/care/conditions/hypertrophic-cardiomyopathy. We encourage people to seek the best treatment (you deserve it) given by experts for the best outcomes of their disease. Insurance is another topic we cannot give advice about; different facilities have different "rules." We do advise calling the insurance/billing department of the place you want to go as well as the insurance company directly. Again, please do read the response to your other posting.
