Incontinence and pain in hands?
Recently, I have started to have difficulty holding it at times, running to the bathroom (and did not make it two days ago). When I urinate (sometimes not much), I often feel pain in my hands when bearing down (sorry if TMI), which I find very odd. I have fibromyalgia and some other physical issues my rheumatologist isn't sure of the cause yet. Went to urgent care to test for UTI, which was negative and the urgent care doctor agreed the hand pain was odd.
I am going through menopause and this symptom started after an endometrial biopsy a month and a half ago, but did get better after a couple of weeks when my cervix stopped hurting, then returned. I'm not sure if I should see a urologist or go back to my gynecologist.
Has anyone ever had this symptom and if so, what kind of doctor did you see for it?

I also have burning pain in my hands when I urinate while having a UTI. Doctor just gave me an odd look so I stopped mentioning the pain.
...just a shot in the dark: but would this be a form of nuropathy from an antibiotic you took for UTI? I have long story about my issues but years ago took Norfloxacin for UTI 2 weeks after finishing when woke up and crossed carpeted floor I could feel every fibre under feet, went tomake breakfast and hands were not normal: I got Neuropathy and stil have it 7 yrs later... mix of tingling and some pain ... thankfully it is not as bad as some people but hands and feet never quite the same... but I have it on and off regardless of whether or not am urinating so... am interested in responses.... Incontinence at 80, so I wear paper panties ( Depends) at night & a panty liner during the day.
Sometime, I just make it to the bathroom but still have a panty heavy with urine...so just change it & go back to bed.
I also went to a physical therapist who gave me ? tightening ? exercises which seem to help.... I
do not want to take meds for this condition as I already take about 6 others. I think the exercises have helped in that I haven't had an accident during the day... but I do go immediately if I feel the need & don't drink much water...a down side to hydration. Find a doctor that understands!!
