I’m trying to be seen at mayo for dermatology

Also want to add again, mayo has no problem accepting me for surgery without the referral. Makes no sense to me.

@jazayeri4, when you go to Mayo Clinic for your surgery, speak to the surgical team about getting a reference to dermatology.

Once you have your initial appointment, testing and assessment, additional appointments in other departments may be arranged as assessed by your surgeon who will be performing the Mohs surgery. He/she will be your main provider and will quarterback any additional needs.

May I ask which Mayo Clinic you will have your surgery at?

Thank you very much for all this helpful information! I really appreciate it! I am just scared/frustrated with trying to navigate the medical system, and with all these new lumps showing up, it’s the last thing I want to worry about. I’m having surgery at Rochester MN. on the 28th of April.
