I'm pretty certain my husband has CTE. I've been researching dementia and alzheimers & he checks all the boxes for those diseases but I've recently discovered CTE and feel he fits more into this category. It gets worse by the day, and very frustrating for me. He does things that both put us in danger and are very worrisome. I feel like I have to follow him around the house daily to check on things. Hoping he doesn't burn the house down with his inability to think. He doesn't get anything; it's like his brain is dead. He is an abused child and going on 79. Says he was hit in the head alot while growing up. I've tried to get him help but he is in denial and can't find a Dr. who will listen to me. Sure would help to talk to someone about it.
