I am almost a year post transplant and remain itchy. I find hydroxyzine helps - ask your doctor if it might work for you.

I am 5 month post and some of the itching has come back a few times specifically lower legs-nowhere near pre transplant. My dermatologist has me on fluocinolone Acetonide topical oil followed by a coating a Vanicream. I use it for about 3-5 days in row for relief from my intermittent bouts with itching. I believe it is a low dose steroid and Mayo has approved. Best wishes.

@pgruetz, I think it was last summer, that I was bothered by itching, Nothing like ths pretransplant itch, but it worried me. For years, I had occassional itching. But I finally realized that fresh pineapple and fresh strawbwerries make me itch!
Have you added anything to your diet that might be thr culprit?
