I would like to hear about others experience with BiPAP machines
I have been reading about the bipap. I however , I have not heard from persons using the machine . I am on 24/7 oxygen . I sleep with a cannula and I find myself breathing thru my mouth at night . Thinking about trying it .
I would like some advice and/or tips from one that uses it . Thanks.

I like CPAP.com as a website. You would need an order from a doctor. I like the mask that had memory foam. It had the fewest leaks. It was res med which has a monopoly in the United States and is incredibly hard to work with.
ResMed has some lawsuits. I would read them as well as the length packet on the machine and on the equipment. I wish I had read them. Some of us cannot have magnets near us and the headgear often if not always has magnets. I am off CPAP and on oxygen only. I use a wedge pillow now I got from Costco and they tested me in the lab.
I was ok in the lab with the pillow and it corrected the breathing issues.

@grtgpax1, @segoyner, @spinsister, and @bipap2000 all shared their experiences with a BiPap machine. You can read their experiences here and they may wish to share how they are currently doing as well. @taipan, did your provider give you any suggestions to help you get started?
From bipap2000. Just got a new machine last month, ResMed Auto Curve 10 - updated. I was told by provider that during COVID, ResMed had a problem keeping up with demand so they have since put the guts of the 11 in the case of the 10. Huge difference in price ~ $400 for the updated 10 vs $1300 for the new 11. My insurance cover my machines and accessories, but I went for the undated 10 as I wouldn't have to change out my accessories, plus saving my insurance some money. Very happy with the newer 10. Has some more monitoring features that make it more comfortable. I'd heard that the older ResPeronics machines had some issues with the foam insulation getting hot and giving off some bad gases that got into the patients lungs. Believe there was a recall on the machines. Haven't heard anything about the ResMed law suits that some others have mentioned. Good luck - the machines are a pain in the face, but worth it for the better night's sleep and not feeling so tired during the day.
many thanks very helpful
I buy a resmed from the factory in hunan, 380 $
no info from the doctor
Hi, You can try Hybrid Masks or Nasal Masks. I think they will be more comfortable compared to nasal Pillows. There will be fewer adjustment required when Sleeping
