I was diagnosed with conrod dyst. Should I pay for DNA testing?

I have conrod dystrophy and macular holes OU. I have money. Should I pay for the DNA testing so I can get a prognosis. I am willing to spend the money if it will help my retina specialists atCEI, OSHU with a prognosis. I am seventy.Is it too late for me?

Have you gotten a 2nd opinion? Are you going to the best doctor in your area? Where do you live?

Hi. I was also diagnosed with con rod dystrophy. I did the gene test and to me it was just for my Knowledge. Everywhere I go they say they do not have a treatment for it. Do you have any recent update?
