I self catheter 4 x/day: Any treatment to get off a catheter?

I use self catheters 4 times a day caused by having long COVID for 6.5 years. Does anyone know a treatment or more knowledge getting off the self catheters so your bladder empties fully?

My hubby had an an artificial urinary sphincter put in so he can control urinary incontinence. It give him a bulb to press to open the sphincter to release the urine in the bladder.

Other techniques to try: Double voiding is a primary method where you urinate, stand up or wait a few minutes, and then attempt to urinate again to release remaining urine. Proper sitting posture is critical for both men and women; sit with knees higher than hips, and lean slightly forward to allow pelvic floor muscles to relax fully. Additional strategies include deep breathing into the lower belly to reduce tension and relax the pelvic floor, as well as pelvic floor exercises (Kegels) to strengthen the muscles controlling bladder emptying. External stimulation techniques such as gently tapping over the pubic bone, applying light pressure to the lower abdomen, or listening to running water can help trigger bladder contractions. Rocking your torso side-to-side while sitting or standing and walking briefly after urinating can also assist in fully draining the bladder.
