I really think I need to relocate for cancer treatment

Posted by anon0 @anon0, Apr 27 10:19pm

I have had numerous bad experiences with the cancer facility. Now I’ve been waiting over one month without treatment while I waited for a biopsy getting sicker and sicker. I don’t know why they couldn’t have asked for an emergency or an expedited biopsy. I finally got the biopsy done but now waiting to hear back from them. They have many bad reviews on google. I’m wanting to relocate for my treatments but have very little savings and feeling very sick. Any ideas what I can do?

This is a no brainer. If you're dealing with cancer, as I am, get to the best. I travel from Georgia to Mayo Rochester to see one of the best specialists in the world and it's the most impressive medical experience I've had in my life and I wouldn't trade my doctor for anyone else. Both my parents died of cancer and only saw local doctors....those experiences taught me a valuable life lesson....don't gamble with your life because you don't want to travel a bit.

I traveled- but only 3.5 hr drive to Houston, MD Anderson. We did have to spend nights down there- they have one hotel connected to the entire facility but also have longer term options… ask the social worker about these. They should be able to point share them with you.
