I Have PN In Legs. Now my face, arms scalp feel buggy too. Neuropathy?
I feel like I have tiny bugs walking on my scalp, face, and arms. It’s driving me nuts. I keep checking for bugs, but there’s nothing.
I’ve had PN since 2016 in my legs and feet. It is the result of Vasculitis. I also have neuritis of my scalp.
This buggy skin is almost constant. Anyone else?

I’m old, and never had allergies, but I have itchy, I took Claritin, and it’s gone. Try an allergy medicine.
Have you been seen by your neurologist lately? Maybe check with neurologist and see if they can help.
@SusanEllen66, do the experiences in the related discussion sound like your?

@colleenyoung I'm not experiencing anything to the extent described there.
My sensations are pin pricks, and a light movement across my skin. Sometimes it’s the sensation of a bug crawling out of my hair down my forehead. It always stops and starts in the same location.
I don’t take any meds for the PN because they all make me too tired and I can’t function.
Oh well, it could be worse!
I take that too.. now allergies Dr put me on Allegra for seasonal ones. But what can I take for indoors allergies, dust and outside of my windows are all types of trees and grass and dirt 🤢. Lets not forget about the Psy Meds. Can we talk.
Which makes me dizzy and effects my eyesight. Seems to be no end to this drama have a great day.
The "buggy" feelings I have are apparently caused by fibromyalgia. When I run out of meds, I can't sleep! I was referred to a rheumatologist, and he diagnosed it immediately and started meds. Hope that may help.
Oh my gosh. We should form a club!
My family and friends are sick of my litany of aches, pains, oh nos, what is that, and I don’t feel good…
I take SSRIs for depression and pain from fibromyalgia and arthritis.
Now it’s a new thing. I am going for a sleep study on June 13. I’m have some really weird symptoms and they want to rule out narcolepsy.
Narcolepsy is normally diagnosed when someone is a teenager. I’m 73 so who knows…it’s a brain issue so maybe the medications I have been taking for years has caused it.
I’m thinking that my bugs are nerves. I have occipital neuralgia which means that the nerves under my scalp are inflamed. That happened when my neck and skull were not aligned correctly because I bought the wrong size pillow for myself.
It’s always something!

I have neuropathy that started in my legs and now has
moved through my whole body. My Face is pulling and now my scalp is ready itching. This is the worst part so far. Also I have ringing in my left ear. I’ve tried a lot of different meds with no help. I have stayed active and I believe that is what helped me some but now with my scalp itching it is about to get to me. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Hi. I have PNand I am experiencing dizziness, blurred vision, instability as well as extreme back pain. My neurologist and ophthalmologist say I have nystagmus which means my eyes are jumping and have a hard time focusing. I also have constant tearing and dry eyes. This is been going on for about eight years.
