I have granulomatosis
I’m 79 . Was diagnosed with Granulomatosis in 2017. Have lost sight in left eye. Have the saddle nose ., On mycophenolate 500 twice daily!

Why mycophenolate? I have Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis. Have been in GPA communities for over 7 years. Have never heard of mycophenolate as a treatment option. Perhaps you need a second opinion on diagnosis and recommended drug therapy.
I know ! Never know what to do with GPA! Don’t think doctors really know either. Just a guess and try . Saw my Rheumatologist this week . After reading a message from my retina doctor rheumatologist said “your case is so complicated I think you need to go to Dallas to see a specialist “! I thought he was a specialist. Will contact my eye doctor tomorrow to see what he saw at my visit with him ? The disease is almost too much to deal with then adding doctor saying you need to go see someone else . Anyone with GPA in the Dallas area ?
