I am looking for an exercise video to do.

Hi, I am a senior woman and am looking for an exercise video that I can safely do. I have had both knees and hips replaced abut I want to stay as fit and active as possible. What I am looking for is the actual name of the video. I hope someone has some advice for me. Thanks.😊

This showed up in my email from the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation. Might be a great free resource.

Free On-Demand Video Series: The 3 Most Crucial Components of Exercise for Osteoporosis
Date/Time: May 1-31, 2025 (ongoing)
Instructor: Kaari Prehab
Details: Did you know that walking alone won’t produce meaningful, long term bone density improvement? In fact, better BMD requires very specific exercise stimulus, loading patterns, and progression over time. This free video series and mini-ebook teaches you evidence-based techniques that actually produce a better DXA scan. Register for lifetime access!

I have been using Brick House Bones videos on you tube with Dr. Lisa Moore, DPT: osteoporosis programs.
I also enjoy chair yoga and daily walks. Best wishes and good health.

@kars I like Adriene's channel on You Tube for yoga. She has specific yoga poses and routines for bone strength. It may not seem initially that yoga is for bone health but there are many standing and balance poses that encourage the muscle and tendon strength needed to support your body.

Wish I had a specific exercise video to recommend. Few questions to help people recommend a video.
Do you plan on playing on DVD or from you computer / phone using YouTube or something similar?
Are you looking for aerobic workout or something like yoga or stretching?

I am eager to see what people recommend. Now that weather is starting to warm up in MN, I usually get out and walk.

Mayo has some simple exercises under there Healthy Living section:

The American Heart Association has a number of good videos. You can choose the level and the time of each session. They include many exercises that work on mobility, stability and stretching. Check them out on Amazon. Also, check Exercise TV.
