I am awakened by what feels like a vibrating bed.
About 6 weeks ago I started waking up several times a night to cover up my little Shih-Tzu, thinking it was him shivering. I was literally waking up to what felt like the old-fashioned vibrating bed, (and I did not put in a quarter) for those of you not old enough to know -- these really existed once upon a time.
I only realized within the last week that this is me and not him, and this morning I opted to grab the computer and look up internal vibrations and found this. My tremors are in my torso, and it really does feel like my bed is vibrating. Cubby will be happy to know that Mom will stop covering him up. I would put my hand out to rest it on him and it would stop. So my movement or altering my position did make it stop, because it was me.
This is getting worse and I'm starting to experience the internal tremors when awake. I see where this can be caused by anxiety and stress, but this is causing anxiety and stress for me, first because I thought something was wrong with Cubby and took him to the vet, but now realizing it is me and this came out of nowhere, I have two medical issues that could be causing it, and would like to know if others are having similar circumstances.
One, I have an artificial aortic valve, that was put on a "recall" list two years after I got it in 2018. I get it checked out November 18th to see if there are any signs of deterioration, and to find if that, in itself, can be the cause.
Two, and what I feel could be more of the culprit, is that I have severe gastroparesis, where food in the stomach doesn't digest and can hang around causing toxins in the system. There are lots of things I can no longer eat, because they simply don't digest. Main question here is are there others on here having internal tremors that notice they are prevalent when you have eaten something you shouldn't have, or eaten too much, (which isn't a lot) causing delayed digestion?
Is there a different group with regard to internal tremors with lack of digestion, or are all of them caused by something going on in the cerebellum?
If there is anyone with similar issues, please let me know if there was anything you have done that helped.

@bobbelu I just wanted to respond to the "nerve damage cannot be reversed." I haven't been to my acupuncturist since Covid hit. I knew she moved so went online to get the new address and the old phone number to call an make an appointment.
The reason I responded is that under "coments" a gentleman who had lost the top of his thumb was having constant pain in the area of his thumb that is no longer there. He said it was driving him crazy, and numbness from nerve damage had started to travel up into his forefinger. He went to Melissa, my acupuncturist and he said it is 100% gone and he goes in about 2 times a year to make certain it stays that way. Sometimes it can be reversed.

1 ReactionI know the people that are reading this are probably thinking WTH.. but to be honest with you I feel it too I felt it for about maybe 4 years now. I did the same thing I had an elderly dachshund that would sleep in my bed next to me and sometimes she would shiver from being cold or from the rain coming and I would always blame it on her but then one day I realized putting my hand on her that it wasn't her shaking it was me. it's so crazy how similar the my experiences to your story. I blamed it on her for the longest time until I actually realized it was I thought it was my back at first and I also too thought it was my stomach.. in at rare time is it is my stomach making really sharp gurgling noises but I can feel those passing through. The vibration seems like it's towards the back of my torso like if it were between the inside of my rib cage and the muscles on my back. I have one particular theory as to maybe why it started. And it started over the situation that involved an incident in 2021. I hope I don't need to say more. It was a situation against my will of sorts. Anyways I did the same thing you did I changed my diet I barely eat anything as it is.. my one rule for eating is if it doesn't look like God made it then I don't need it if it looks like a man manipulated it I don't intake it. But either way I did Google the symptoms it's not great it's very nerve-racking. I'll remember this post that you wrote and if I find any more clues about it or definite information from any doctors that I speak with I'll share it with you I only speak with biomedical doctors by the way I don't do the commercial kind.. I've also thought that maybe it was the increase of Wi-Fi signal that's been being implemented all around us. If you know what I mean

I know what mine is caused from. I have to drink at the very least 2 quarts of water every day. If I go 2-3 days with getting less the internal vibrations start. There are a lot of people on here with them who have contacted me. I have severe gastroparesis and sometimes intake of water is not easy. In the Winter months it's difficult to want to drink water when it is cold outside. Good luck with everything. Believe me, internal vibrations are a real thing and people of all ages, male and female have responded with the same issues. I started taking a product by "Live Conscious" called Liverwell that stopped mine dead in their tracks on the first day. That winter when I wasn't drinking enough they started back up and I started searching what was different. For me it was the water. Two quarts doesn't seem like a lot, but in the winter, for me it is. I also drink Smart Water, because not only was I getting dehydrated, but my electrolytes were getting out of whack. For me that was it. I have to take a break from Liverwell every 3rd month for about 6-8 weeks, and as long as I keep up with the 2 quarts of water I am okay. If I don't I'm vibrating.
