How available is Camzyos outside the US?

How available is Camzyos outside the US? Does anyone have experience with cardiologist who specializes in HOCM in another country?

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Support Group.

Hello @mrsblueskies
There are several members here on Connect from Canada and Europe who are Camzyos.
Here is a link from the Camzyos site which provides a phone # in the US, perhaps as we wait for another more knowledgeable member outside the United States to jump in here, you can find more information:

*If you have questions about the CAMZYOS REMS Program, ask your healthcare provider, visit http://www.CAMZYOSREMS.com or call 1‑833‑628‑7367.

What country are you interested in knowing the availability of Camzyos?
Are you seeing a cardiologist for HOCM? Perhaps they will have the ability to contact BMS/ REM program?

We are doing more extended traveling now that I am doing so much better. We’re looking at Portugal and Panama. I depend on having Camzyos available to me wherever I might be and am hesitant to make plans without knowing more.

@mrsblueskies I'm in Canada and when I wanted to go on a 6 week cross-country trip, I contacted the pharmacy that looks after me. Getting an additional month was super easy - I asked, they delivered. Not sure how often that would be possible or whether a multi-month supply would be possible.

@boatsforlife I, too, am in Canada. I am so pleased with my pharmacy and their cooperation in supplying my Camzyos. They have delivered a multi-month supply when I've requested it.

I'm in Vancouver and have been on Camzyos for a long time. I can completely understand the anxiety of potentially running out when traveling. I'm currently getting a 3-month supply at each refill and that has alleviated all my anxiety around that.

@hansj I'm curious how you convinced your pharmacy to do a 3 month supply rather than single months. Once your dosage has stabilised it seems *SO* much more cost and time efficient to do 4 deliveries per year instead of 12. Did they suggest it or did you? Was it based on your travels or the cost-efficiency, or some other argument?

Hi @mrsblueskies !
I am from Slovenia (Europe) and Camzyos is readily available here. My cardiologist always gives me a multi-month subscription and I just contact the pharmacy and order as much as I need. The delivery usually takes two days.

@boatsforlife I've been using Bayshore Pharmacy and they are great. Meds get delivered to my home. I've been on Camzyos for about 3 years. They switched me to a 3 month refill schedule last year. There was no argument needed.

@hansj - Interesting - I'm with Bayshore Edmonton. I will have to contact them. I'm eternally grateful for Camzyos but it sure would be a lot more convenient to get it in 3 month batches. Thanks for the info.
