Help
My life has been devoted to a man who has a disability (cerebral palsy). His condition has worsened greatly in the last 2 years. I fell 8 years ago and struggle daily with my own physical pain and limitations so my ability to assist him has diminished and my level of patience and frustration often reaches its max. I believe in prayer and know one day this will end and a better life is ahead. God bless the caregivers!
The little support offered by family/friends makes me realize how little we matter.

5 Reactions@goldie01 So we meet again! I can imagine it must be so difficult for you. Have you looked into nurses aides who could come in to help you? Or maybe there are some people at your church. And you said that family/friends have offered little help. Have you told them that you’re having a really difficult time and you’d love some help. Maybe you could try asking and see what happens. Think you could do that?

1 ReactionGoing through something similar while waiting kidney transplant for my husband. Don’t let your family or friends determine your worth.
I’ve realized that a while ago. When people are not in your shoes, they have no clue what you are going through every single day. Your world has changed but theirs keeps going. I stopped expecting support from our family a while ago. And now my every day support is my Lord and support groups. God bless you.
