Hazy omentum and hazy mesentery with stranding, ovarian cyst
Have abdominal distribution x 2 months with a lot of pressure right upper quadrant and now whole right abdomen. CT two minths ago show hazy omentum and hazy mesentary with stranding. Had ultrasound for right ovary , and was diagnosed with cyst, not tumor. Had upper endoscopy to rule out pancreatic cancer/ disease. No definitive diagnosis but discomfort increasing. Colonoscopy and endoscopy all normal except h pylori

Hazy omentum and hazy mesentary are very nonspecific findings that can be due to anything from relatively benign to infection to inflammatory to malignant conditions. On the other hand, it isn’t “normal “ and deserves further investigation. It seems these days, from my experience, that gastroenterologists prefer to be procedure oriented endoscopists rather than diagnostistians. It is probably too specialized for your average PCP, but if your gastroenterologist blows you off your PCP may be a place to start to find a gastroenterologist in your area that will search for a cause in earnest.
Ovarian cysts generally don’t cause issues unless they are large. “Generally “ may not apply to you, we are all different. Did it mention if it was a simple or complex cysts?
