Has anyone on Tagrisso had brain mets show up?

I was diagnosed 2 years ago with stage 1B EGFR NSCLC. After surgery and 4 rounds of chemo, I’ve been on Tagrisso for about a year and a half. In latest MRI, small spot has shown up on my brain. Wondering if anyone else has had brain metastisis show up while taking Tagrisso. Thanks.

@franciekid , I'm so sorry to read this, but glad that you seem to be having regular brain MRI's. What is your doctor recommending at this point?

Follow up MRI in April. If metastasis, gamma knife. Right now it’s 3mm.

I am so sorry to hear this! I know you said you didn’t have lymph node involvement, did you have lymphovascular invasion or air space invasion (STAS)?

I have VPI as well, I’m not sure of the extent either. My tumor was 2.3cm. No lymph node, no lymphovascular invasion, or air space invasion. I will be praying for you!

I am…. My surgery was 10/9/24. Started tagrisso about 6 or 7 weeks after that. So I’m pretty new to this.

Mine was March 2023. Cancer free on Tagrisso until this 3mm spot showed up a week or so ago. Have to wait a few months to see what it is. Did you have chemo?

Hopefully it’s not cancer! For me they did not recommend chemo. Straight to Tagrisso. Im scared all the time. I’m 38 years old.
