Has anyone had experience withdrawing from fioricet?

I am 73 years old and have been taking fioricet for over 30 years. 7 pills a day. Can I slowly withdraw on my own?

What anxiety meds did she give u . Bc benzodiazepines are also addictve...Xanax, klonopin and Valium and ativan. Don't jump from the frying pan into the fire. Benzos are more addicting than phenobarbital that's in the fioricet. PLEASE get a 2d opinion!!!!

That's not 2 bad. Do not exceed that dos. Start cutting back by one tab of fioricet a day for about 3-4 days. Continue in this manner. There's also caffeine in fioricet. To limit anxiety refrain from ANY caffeinated products like coffee tea or pop. Some chocolate I suppose would be okay. Refrain from alcohol at all cost. U don't need to compromise yourself. Much luck!!
