@lenorj For those of us with chronic health conditions, it seems that the research into and release of new therapies is way too slow...Peptide therapy today is kind of the "Wild West" in medicine.
Let me begin by saying that there is currently NO FDA approved peptide for fatigue caused by infections like MAC, chronic diseases like bronchiectasis, or for improving lung function. Like others, I hope there is research, and I will be able to tell you something different soon. Current list:

There are many promising studies on dozens of other peptides, but few have led to full clinical trials on humans and subsequent published reports. Promotional materials by those selling peptides/peptide therapy are NOT USUALLY research studies, they are more often testimonials from customers. (Note they never include reviews from patients who got no relief, or reacted badly.) Other countries seem to be "ahead of us" in approving and using peptides, but we don't know whether this is based on good science. The internet and the wellness culture is promoting peptide use heavily, for everything, it seems. A very "gray market" of injectable (various names) and oral (creatine, collagen) peptides has sprung up, with no standards for safety or efficacy.
Keep in mind that there is very little regulation or inspection of these substances. Even the ones from compounding pharmacies are only as safe as the raw materials they buy- usually from unregulated sources abroad. You can also react adversely to the substances or the binders, fillers, or impurities in them. AND the long-term effects of "boosting" naturally occurring substances with extra is unknown...
So what should we do? Here is a recent article from the AMA:

Please do not self-treat, consult your doctor to find safe, approved therapy.
Thanks for the info.
