Greasy tiny particles that won't wash off

I have a greasy, scaly, skin, hair, and scalp infection that won't wash off. I have tried all sorts of shampoo, but it requires four or five washes to remove most of the grease from my hair, and I can't get my eyebrows and eyelids clean even with tea-tree wipes. I have seen a professional dermatologist twice now and have been informed that I have seborrheic dermatititis. However, there are tiny particles of greasy material around my eyes and eyebrows and behind my ears that I can't remove, even with repeated washes. The symptoms might be due to demodex, and the condition is spreading to my nose, chest and throat. The dermatologist says not likely, but the condition is really uncomfortable. All suggestions will be gratefully acknowledged.

I was having Trouble with greasy hair as well.. My daughter thought I had a vitamin deficiency of vitamin C. I started taking emergency-c Daily 1000 mg. After about two weeks, my hair greasy has got much better And I keep tabs on my scalp and if it seems to get greasy again, then I start taking vitamin C again It’s just a thought

Mu husband had the exact same symptoms you describe. His dermatologist said it was seborrheic dermatitis. She said clean the affected area of skin with Eucerin brand face hydrating cleansing gel. Moisturize with Aquaphor face Gel-Cream. Also use the prescription Zoryve. It is expensive even with insurance, but it really works for him. He was going crazy trying to clear off all the scales every day. Good luck getting it under control.

I have some Zoryve, prescribed by my dermatologist. It seems to stick to my skin like a protective layer. I haven't used it more than two or three times. How long has your husband used it, and did the symptoms go away very quickly.
Thanks for the info, I will try using it again on a regular basis!
