Oh my, not to worry. Everyone reacts differently to any medication.

Those drugs just made me very sleepy. That’s all.

I take 600mg three times a day so I can function. Other things did not work.

Don’t be afraid! I’ve been taking Gabapentin for many years and it helped so much with my sleep. You’re starting at the lowest dose so you’ll be fine. My 92 yo Mom is also taking a 100mg at bedtime and she has done great on it!!

When I was prescribed gabapentin- with in a week the side effects in both my hands and feet were visible, fluid retention at its worst, or so I thought, then the general weight gain and I was still in pain. I stopped taking it, the pain was the same but the weight slowly dropped.

I began with a similar dose. I had no side effects and considered it a lifesaver because prior to taking after just 15 minutes weeding or similar activity I was in agony. Suddenly I could function.

I started with 100 mg too. I was scared at first. I'm on 200 2x a day now and if they raise me again I will do it, as long as the pain goes away..

I find the Gabapentin does help with reducing fibromyalgia pain but I think it also makes me prone to feeling sad and irritable. So I'm trying to decide if that's worth living with as a side effect. I only recently started taking it regularly and I think maybe for me taking it as needed works better.

I'm on 800 mg right now and it helps me sleep, sometimes it helps the pain and other times not. I also use Tramadol and that seems to help the pain on the days that Gabapentin doesn't.

Hi!
I just started it and I’m into it for 5 days now. I am feeling a bit nauseous and just off. I think it’s dragging me down and tired .
Though, it has eased my nerve pain a lot. This Friday night I bump my dose to two pills for 1 week then 3 pills for 1 week.
I’m praying it helps

I also am feeling sad. I’ve only been on it a week and I wasn’t sure,if it was because I have had enough of this pain and controlling my everyday routine. I was taking lots of Tylenol and now my Liver levels are 3rd higher. So I am dealing with g with that and pre diabetic
So no sugar, caffeine and so much more. But, I will be fine.
