Free testosterone
I've been reading about boron as a supplement for bone health, and see that one of the things it does is increase free testosterone levels. I was on ADT for 27 months and stopped in September of 2024. My testosterone is now in the 600 range and PSA remains controlled. I'm wondering if there's any evidence that increasing free testosterone at this point would stimulate new cancer growth.

1 Reaction600 total testosterone - sounds good to me, especially after being on ADT for such a long time. This is a controversial subject, but the trend is becoming increasingly supportive of testosterone.
Curious how you are feeling now. I suspect you are probably feeling wonderful with significantly improved energy and mental cognition. Correct???

1 ReactionBoron is unproven both as a bone supplement and for improving free testosterone. Probably will do better with high impact exercises for your bones (jumping, stomp) since that stimulates bone growth. At 600 total your free testosterone should be fine (have you had it tested?). As long as you keep the boron under 20mg per day (higher may get negative side effects) the boron will probably be a non-event for both prostate cancer and bones. You really should get a free testosterone test before and after to check on how effective this supplement is for you.

2 Reactions@kenk1962 Probably the biggest thing other than return of libido is I have a lot less joint pain. I already had some arthritis before starting the whole process, and the ADT really exacerbated that especially in my neck and shoulders.
