Have any parents taken taken their child to the Mayo Clinic from Australia for focal cortical dysplasia? And what was your experience please?

Hi @jdebono
Welcome to our group at Mayo Clinic Connect! I hope you'll find the support you're looking for here.
I was intrigued to read that Mayo Clinic has a unit in Australia — I wasn't aware of that. I'm tagging our moderator @lisalucier, who'll be better placed to answer your questions.
All my best to you and your child! 💜

Hi, @jdebono - interestingly, there is no Mayo Clinic location in Australia. There is a Mayo Private Hospital located in Taree, New South Wales, but it is not affiliated.

The only connection Mayo Clinic in the U.S. has with Australia right now, to my knowledge, is a specialized testing partnership in Australia through Mayo Clinic Laboratories. They evidently have partnered with SydPath at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney.

If you are looking for Mayo Clinic health resources, the best way to access them is via their Mayo Clinic's official website for patients outside of the United States https://www.mayoclinic.org/international.

How is your 4-year-old doing?
