Fish Oil and AFIB
I’ve had various levels of AFIB for quite some time and I’m currently not having any issues or problems since most recent ablation.
I have been taking fish oil supplements, but now I’m hearing that it might be a trigger for AFIB. I guess I should stop taking them but I’d like to hear any advice from here about that. Thanks

@carbcounter Thanks! Yes, it's a complex subject, changing all the time, and it's hard for the typical person to keep up. I appreciate your knowledge and your ability to communicate it.
John Mandrola, an EP who does a great blog for physicians, talks about fish oil pills this week and last week. His opinion is fish is good, fish pills probably not good for afib. He goes through why.

Does he have a web site to go on. Or how do you his blog.
I take 2000 mg of Fish Oil twice a day. It is to reduce my triglycerides which it did by 50%.
I have a Mayo EP that knows I am on Fish Oil and has made no notification or concern about being on it. Nor has my PCP.
I know my wife was on a prescription form of Fish Oil but her PCP said she could take OTC fish oil.
