Try a heating pad on areas that hurt and use Tylenol. Pain may be from inflammation. I am taking the Tart Cherry Juice & will switch to the Zazzee Tart Cherry after my next bottle, to reduce the cost. I am also having some success with the inflammation by using Boswellia with Frankincense.
If you are having lower back pain and in thighs (try a test of where the muscles are in spasm by pressing on sections of the buttocks). I have found that when sleeping, place a pillow between the legs if sleeping on the side or under the knees if on your back. After a few days, these spasms will subside. Do not use heat but only cold on the sore area. Heat draws the blood to the area and will further complicate things. If using an ice pack of some sort, do not place directly on the skin but have some cloth in between, maybe a small towel or something. I have found ultrasound will break up these spasms but having these treatments cost money and also, if you do not target the cause of the spasms, they will just come back.
I have seen various comments that acupuncture works well. I may try that in the future.
Get sleep, because lack of rest only exacerbates the situation.
