extreme body heat when sleeping

Posted by mems @mems, Jul 11, 2023

Some people with mycobacterium and bronchiectasis experience "night sweats". I have been experiencing extreme body heat several times during the night, without the "sweats". Does this happen, also ??

I can relate. I often feel that I have a fever at night but if I take my temp it is normal. I don't perspire much, probably because of Sjogrens, but this symptom and chills is how I realized my MAC had returned. It is an odd disease. But we can live with it.

Thank you for your reply. It's very distressing, but we will live with it.

I’ve have what I call “sleeping hot” and I’ve had both, waking up either feeling super hot or wake up sweaty. It’s so strange because due the day I’m always on the cool side wearing a lightweight sweater inside and I am usually cold when I go to bed.

Yes! There is an outline of my body on the sheets when I wake up. Always wondered why
