@deniseheart
It is a great medication. Were you told that Entresto now is in generic form and much cheaper. I went from paying $225.00 every 3 months to paying $20.00 with insurance.
The main ingredients (generic) are the same as brand.
I was put on Entresto about 10 years ago. I did not get a rise in my EF but it did stabilize it. My EF has been the same now for 10 years versus going down every time tested before Entresto.
I have read on MCC a lot of people posting a rise in their EF dramatically. I am happy mine quit going down. I contribute it to Entresto as was on other medication prior to taking it and EF kept going down.
@jc76 Thank you jc76 for your reply. I would hope for the same.

1 Reaction@deniseheart As of this month I've taken Entresto for 2 years without any noticeable side effects. I think it's been a life saver for me and given me so much for the quality of my life, I'm not sure if there's been any more effect on my EF , but many of the sx. I had prior are much improved. I'm currently taking the generic drug which is Tier 3 for my Insurance so am paying $63.00 for a 30 day supply which is a bit of a hardship for me but so well worth it for my improved health.
Wishing you the very best!
