Suspected Endometrial Cancer: Cervix won't open to do biopsy
The lining of my uterus is thick so they tried to do a biopsy but my cervix would not open and they mentioned having a hysterocmy but I'm not sure about doing that without knowing if it's cancer or not.

1 ReactionThat's what the doctor suggests, but how can they do a hysterectomy without evidence if cancer even though my thickness and spotting is of concern at my age. I've had 3 spinal fusions, 1 total hip replacement last year. I have osteosporosis, osteoarthritis, high cholesterol and pre-diabetes. I'm a high risk. 🙏🙏🙏

3 ReactionsDoctor did two tests hysteroscopy
D&C to look at inside of uterus
Which found the cancerous polyp
So I wanted full hysterectomy tubes and ovaries out
I also had vaginal bleeding at 70
That is not normal
