Endometrial adenocarcinoma anyone?

Posted by camaroyo @camaroyo, May 7 7:02pm

I have been diagnosed with Endometrial adenocarcinoma (FIGO grade II, endometrioid type) and would like any information on it and how do I go about getting approved to go to Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale Az?

@camaroyo OK. Now I understand the used of an IUD for Endometrial carcinoma if the goal is to retain fertility in a younger woman. Without knowing your age I didn't realize this may be a consideration for you. If yes, then it does make sense to see how the IUD works before doing anything surgically.

Is this correct?

@naturegirl5 I don’t know the ins and outs of it but I’m no youngster. So because of my other complications it’s probably easier on me. We still have to fully discuss it before I decide what to do. Ultimately it’s my decision. So the next visit I’ll be getting more understanding of it all. I’m researching it to get my list of questions together. I’m learning at this stage….he described it some but we have to see from an MRI if I’m even a candidate….

@naturegirl5 hi FYI MY Drs office contacted me to start the process to set me up for my MRI. So I’m pretty pleased it was done fast. Hope to know by next week…,
