Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR): Any experience?
What help or information can anyone help me with EMDR. My therapist recommended tp me for past traumas I have suffered in the past that may be causing the illness I have been going thru the last six years. Doctors have said it maybe Lyme, but i keep getting worse!
Thanks,

I hope this find you well. It’s estimated that 60% of people with PTSD have treatment resistant PTSD. You are doing nothing wrong.
My daughter has a severe case. It is not cheap, but Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is showing promise for PTSD - there is a specific focus on Military Veterans. I bring this up because it appears you are a male and possibly older. Many older males with treatment resistant PTSD are participating in the studies.
I would look into HBOT, CBT and then EMDR when your body gets more into recovery. I would also try Low Dose Naltrexone to add to your medications.
Depending on how severe your health is, if you have CRPS/skin changes/pain/numbness/tingling and have tried other methods - consider ketamine and sirolimus (3mg a day seems to be the therapeutic level). This combination is the most forward medically.
I hope you are doing well.
