Effect of Prednisone

I just started taking prednisone for an allergy and noticed my bp reading has gone above 140. I have an appointment with my doctor in 4 days time. Do I have to do anything between now and when I meet him?

Other than rest, try no heavy lifting, and watch the NaCl intake, (for sodium), there isn't much. Also, make sure you're hydrated as much as possible (without compulsively guzzling six liters of water each day).
