Ectopic heart episodes and GERD, acid indigestion issues
This seems to help at nighttime , especially when the gut seems full, or the hiatus hernia or diaphragm seems to push up into the chest causing these awful Ectopic episodes....or am I just reaching? That’s the feeling I get from the responses from various Cardiologists I’ve seen over the years

@degarden_girl That's good to know. I'm having both right now. I'm going to call my cardio tomorrow and get some answeres.
@ann80 You can check this yourself by having a couple of Tums. If the issue is reflux or GERD, the problem should diminish or disappear.
If there is no change, it likely isn't Reflux or Gerd.

1 Reaction@degarden_girl Thank you! The tums do help for a short time. I have cut out all coffee, spicy foods, Soft drinks. Well everything I love😂 I didn't know that stomach issues could cause Afib until now.I'm thankful I found this group.
@ann80
I don't think GERD or Reflux can cause Afib, but I understand they can cause PVCs. You may wish to talk to your gastroenterologist about medication to control the GERD and Reflux. I take a low dose of pantoprazole sodium, extended release tablets which helps a great deal.
I wish you good luck. These issues and sometimes overwhelming until we get them under control.
