Echolight sonogram scan for bones
Has anyone heard of, or had an Echolight sonogram scan instead of a radiation DEXA scan? New FDA approved that has been used in Europe for awhile. https://www.echolightmedical.com/en/company/

Hi Nina…my estradiol patch is covered under my insurance, I just pay a $20 copay so I’m happy about that.
You started your hormone therapy at a young age. After my hysterectomy at age 48, I was only on hormones for a short time because of all the negative flawed research so until now my hormones are all in the negative numbers. Now with a wonderful cardiologist who strong believed in BHRT at any age, I am on hormones. Unfortunately he passed unexpectedly last month (😢) and am now seeing an integrative gynecologist who is very progressive and agrees I should be on hormones.
I’m calling Osteostrong tomorrow here near my house to discuss REMs. I’d really like to see what difference there might be between that and my latest DEXA. I’d really like to know what the strength of my bones are. If they are strong and BHRT is holding my gains from Tymlos, I’m going to wait on Evenity and continue with my bone loading exercises, weights, pickleball and pray these will sustain my bones. Thanks for all ur info Nina. Let’s keep in touch. Rose 🌹
Let me know how your echo lite goes! It is more accurate than the dexa according to research. Best of luck!!!

Hi, does anyone know of a Echolight sonogram in Minnesota?
74. Just started it. My DO is working with me to get the proper dosage.
I go to Osteo-Strong (several locations in Minnesota) and they offer the Echolight several times a year, including several dates in October and November.
Thank you! Do they do the reading for you, too?
Yes, the technician does the reading and gives you the report to take home. Also, you do not need to be an Osteo-Strong member; the echolight scans are open to the public.
Thank you!
Did you have it done?
