Duodenal ulcer and h. pylori

Posted by kathie1234 @kathie1234, Dec 13, 2024

I was having stomach pain that got better after I ate. I went to the immediate care clinic and the doctor said he thought it was a duodenal ulcer and prescribed pantoprozole and sucralfate. When I saw my regular doctor I asked if I should be tested for h. pylori and she said pylori doesn't cause duodenal ulcers.
Has anybody else heard this? Everything I have found so far indicates that pylori causes ulcers but makes no distinction for duodenal ulcers.
I will appreciate any input.

thanks

Kathie

I happened upon a natural cure for H.pylori = mastiha tears. This is actually a tree gum that solidifies and is harvested, to be chewed like a gum (more like a wax) to clear the H.pylori. It worked for me. Do your own research; I have no medical training, but just try to avoid prescription medications. (I'm 75, eat whole foods mostly, and eat nothing but a half piece of fruit after 5 p.m.)

The medical field is crazy as they don't help as much as they should etc. What are your symptoms of H-Pylori? I had it back in January took over my whole life! I was constantly sick all the time etc. I had a scope and colonoscopy done for diagnose of H-Pylori and you need a GI doctor to diagnose for the ongoing problems.

@midnightstar1001 Did you get rid of hpylori?
I have hpylori snd am afraid to go through therapy due to a current heart arrhythmia and borderline kidney health. I am a 77 yr old female and don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?
