@sue225…….as I sit and think about this…..I don't think I have had any stinging since I started refrigerating them. Even traveling wasn't bad. The other reason I like them cold is that then I know I am covering the entire eye…….as well as getting in all the corners…..

@artscaping Hi Chris! I must thank you for the fridge tip on Restasis. My mom is 6 weeks in on the drops and was about to give up due to stinging. I told her your tip… she mentioned it to her eye doc and he said, "great idea"…so, she's giving it a whirl for another 2 weeks. Fingers crossed it works because I really think Restatis might help her severe dry eye. Thanks a bunch! Hope you are as well as well can be.
Best wishes,
Rachel

Dear Ellen I have the same problems as you. I am now 83 but still have most of my sight. So do not worry to much. Of course I cannot drive a car any more but I can watch television (the boob tube) so all is still good. Continue to see your opthomalogist and we can still smile because it could be worse. I appreciate whatever is left on my plate. Your eyes must be beautiful to look at. For the best of life. Peach

Pharmacist told me to hold the tear ducts – kinda like pinching your upper nose – while "instilling" the drops to keep them where they should be.
how do i hold my tear duct? lol WHat kind of treatment are doing?
Sorry was saying; put in the drops, place some pressure on tear ducts to keep drops in your eyes for a few moments.
@marye2 I'm glad you explained I was trying to figure out how to hold ducts and apply eye drops lol
