Dronedarone and Ranolazine combo for afib

Was prescribed this at Walter Reed for occasional paroxysmal afib. Have been reluctant to quit daily 37.5 mg metoprolol and jump to this. Wondering if anyone has been prescribed this heart med combo. Was it effective? Side effects? Recommendations? Harmony test trial a few years back showed some positive results.

I tried Multaq and had adverse reaction - stomach upset, diarrhea, fatigue, et al so quit it quickly. I'm convinced Ablation is the best cure for AF and more and more of the medical community seem to agree each year. Meds have alot of downsides, especially anti arrythmics. I took Multaq and stopped after 3 days as I had all the symptoms of an active heart attack the whole time. Felt horrible. Scary. I am prone to adverse side effects on meds in general. I have not tried any other anti/arrhythmic. Best of luck.
