Does anyone with RA/PsA have neck pain and headaches?
I've had RA for 20 years, now with PsA overlap. I'm having a lot of neck pain and waking up with headaches that don't respond well to tylenol. Does anyone else have this? Or, in the alternative, any suggestions? I have tramadol for my joints pain, if needed, but it's a terrible choice for beaches as it causes rebound headaches. Thanks.

I have had RA for 15 years. My neck has been severe, wakes me up with a headache I can’t get rid of .
What helps me is sleeping on a “neck” pillow and moist heating pads. It also helps to take one Aleve before bed . I sleep better throughout the night . Yes it takes a little time to get use to sleeping on a neck pillow but it is so worth it!!

I have RA. Had terrible neck pain and could hardly hold my head up. Used to get injections until theyy no longer work. 2022, had neck surgery (C1-T2), yes the entire neck. Eliminated the headaches and most neck pain. Good luck to you and hope you do not have to neck surgery. Recuperation is a bear.
Good grief that sounds like a nightmare. Did they do a fusion or a combination of that and something else? I'm so sorry you had to endure all that, but I'm glad to know it was helpful. Hang in there. If my head falls off they can operate I suppose, but not until that! Fingers crossed!
